For the Internal Prevention Service for Prevention and Protection at Work of the TOI ENGIE HQ BE (legal entities ENGIE GBS, ENGIE IT, ENGIE CC, Contassur and CAC), we are looking for a Health & Safety Advisor Junior

YOUR CHALLENGE as Health & Safety Advisor Junior
Tasks within the Prevention Department
- You support the hierarchy and employees in their efforts to become independent in the field of prevention. You advise them on the identification of hazards when carrying out their activities, the development of risk analyses and the implementation of their control.
- You promote the safety culture during your daily work and help develop and maintain it.
- You will assist the Head of the Internal Service for Prevention and Protection at Work (ISPP) in organising the Committee and drafting its minutes.
- You will be involved of in the implementation of the group rules of DSSG within ENGIE HQ BE including the group rule 02 : H&S at contractors.
- You participate in the organisation of the legal obligations and tasks of the ISPP such as drawing up and implementing and following up the annual action plans and reporting.
- You participate in the development of clear communication regarding H&S.
- You are a contact person for staff regarding H&S
- You participate in workplace visits with the Committee.
- You carry out safety visits.
- You evaluate safety documents received and define minimum H&S requirements.
- You participate in the analysis, drafting and follow-up of the REX of incidents, HiPos, work accidents
- You manage the teams of first aiders and Evacuation Stewards of ENGIE HQ BE and do the coordination with de H&S Advisors from the other entities.
Duties in support of ENGIE GBS Immo BE
- You cooperate with ENGIE GBS Immo BE for H&S aspects and help to find solutions.
- You manage the procedure working with third parties and work permits applicable within ENGIE GBS Immo BE and follow up the implementation. You act as coach for the teams of ENGIE GBS Immo BE in drawing up work permits.
- You advice on safety aspects for maintenance contracts, works and projects of ENGIE GBS Immo.
- You manage the internal emergency procedures for the buildings managed by ENGIE GBS Immo in Belgium.
- You organise the annual evacuation drills for the buildings managed by ENGIE GBS Immo Belgium. For this purpose:
- you organise information sessions for the various members for the Evacuation Stewards;
- coordinate the evacuation drills and liaise with the H&S Advisors of the other entities for this purpose;
- you draft the report that you deliver to the different H&S Advisors of the other entities;
- you follow up the implementation of the action plan.
YOUR PROFILE as a Health & Safety Advisor Junior
- You are diplomatic and depending on the issues, you take them up with the correct interlocutors at the right level.
- You are a team player and solution-oriented.
- You have a critical mind but can be neutral when expected.
- You are eager to learn, always willing to develop further.
- You enjoy communicating with different internal and external contacts.
- You fluently speak and write Dutch and French. A basic knowledge of English is a plus.
- You have at least a level 2 Prevention Advisor certificate or are committed to obtain it.
- You have completed the VCA formation or are committed to obtain it.
- A basic knowledge of Belgian legislation on well-being at work is a plus.
- As part of your job, you are willing to go to other ENGIE GBS Immo sites if the need arises. You have a driving licence.
